Catherine Swiderski is a Michigan native and 2019 graduate from the University of Mary Master
of Occupational Therapy Program in Bismarck, North Dakota. She received her Bachelor of
Science in Sports Science from Northern Michigan University in 2016. Prior to completing her
Occupational Therapy degree, Catherine worked as direct support staff assisting adults with
disabilities in their daily life to achieve greater independence. Additionally, she worked as a
staff member at a residential summer camp for children with physical disabilities implementing
adapted recreational activities including swimming, kayaking, and hiking. Catherine also has
experience working with elderly individuals as a home health aide.
Catherine is dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care to all individuals she
works with. She enjoys researching new topics and interest areas on a regular basis in order to
remain committed to lifelong learning. Catherine enjoys long-distance running, hiking with her
dogs, playing board games, and spending time with friends. Special interest areas include
working with all populations to foster greater independence in their daily routines, life roles,
and activities of daily living.
