Olivia Peters is our speech language pathology assistant. She began volunteering at Nature’s Edge Therapy Center the summer of 2017 working as a side walker in sessions and helping out in the barn. She worked as a speech therapy intern the following summer and hopes to eventually work at the center as a speech language pathologist. She graduated in December 2019 with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Certificate in American Sign Language. She plans to continue on and complete her master’s in Speech Language Pathology. Olivia has interests Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and child language development. Throughout her undergraduate career Olivia worked as a Behavioral Treatment Technician for Reaching Your Potential LLC with involves play-based therapy for children ages 1-3 with ASD.
