Sonny – Horse

Sonny

“Hello friends, my name is Spakur from Flying Eagle Farm, but everyone here lovingly call me Sonny. I was born on May 4, 2013, and my mom is Dee, who also lives here at Nature’s Edge Therapy Center. My best friend and wise mentor is Svali, who is 36 years young and still teaches me a thing or two every day.

I came to Nature’s Edge thanks to the kindness of Wanda Docommum, who knew I would love being surrounded by people who adore me. She was right! My size, calm temperament, and smooth Icelandic gait make me a wonderful partner for therapy sessions, and I’m proud to help patients build confidence, connection, and joy.

When I’m not working, you can find me rallying around the pasture without a care in the world, enjoying life and showing off my playful side. I may be handsome, but I also have an important job helping others heal.

Please support Nature’s Edge Therapy Center during this special mission so horses like me can continue helping others every day. We appreciate you more than you know.”
