Everett Harder grew up in rural northeast Wisconsin. In 1983 he received a BS degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He worked for a few landscape and restoration firms over the years in the Madison and southern Wisconsin area. Work included design, prairie and wetland restoration, golf course construction, and contract implementation of residential and commercial projects.
He and his wife Tamra moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when she was ordained as a pastor in 2013. While there he drove motor coach and became an operations manager for a bus company.
They ended up in northwest Wisconsin when his wife took a call at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron. Their two sons and their families live in the Twin Cities, so it is nice living so much closer to them all.
In his spare time, he enjoys Badger sports, science fiction, bicycle riding, kayaking and DIY projects.
He hopes to bring his knowledge, experience, and passion to Nature’s Edge to help create an all-around pleasant experience for all visitors.
