Despite being burn in England, Dr. Zoe Inglis grew up primarily in CA, where, despite living in suburbia, she developed an extensive love for horses and other livestock. She received both a BS in Animal Science and an MBA from California Polytechnic State University before heading back to England to receive her veterinary training from the Royal Veterinary College. Once finished, she uprooted her life and landed in MN, where she completed an internship at UMN Large Animal and began her ongoing residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine. Her work for the university lead her to cross paths with Becky Payne and Nature’s Edge, ultimately leading to her being invited to sit on the advisory board, to help manage animal care at the center.
In what little free time she has, Dr. Inglis spends it with her three dogs and her husband (a transplant from England who followed her back to the US). When she can, you’ll find her riding horses or dirt bikes, taking her dogs hiking, shooting (both at the range and trap) and occasionally getting to explore local dog friendly restaurants and breweries.
Though only currently licensed to practice medicine in MN, Dr. Inglis hopes to bring her in depth knowledge of veterinary care (and general management from many years as a horse trainer and competitive rider) to Nature’s Edge, to ensue that the residents are well taken care of and are able to thrive and enjoy life as they continue to help those who need them.
