Chickens

5 Serama chickens and 3 Silky chickens born April of 2022

In June of 2022 we acquired 5 Serama chickens and 3 Silky chickens for Nature’s Edge.  The Seramas are the smallest of all chickens and both breeds are very social and are being utilized to assist with people that have disabilities especially Autism.  We acquired them at almost 2 months of age.

Bobbi Jo

Bobbi Jo is a registered POA. She joined our team May 2021 and has been a great addition. She quickly became part of the herd and has adjusted to her career as a therapy horse well. In the mornings she’s one of the first ones to greet you at the gate and let you know its breakfast time. Bobbi Jo loves any and all attention and enjoys a good brushing. Her appaloosa spots stand out in the pasture and all the patients love seeing and working with the “spotted” horse.

KC

KC

KC, or Krymsen Chips, is a registered Quarter Horse as well as a registered solid paint. She is very excited to become a partner at Nature’s Edge. KC is very willing to learn, grow, and help patients at Nature’s Edge as she matures and works on her own training. KC loves exploring and getting to know everyone and is soaking up all the attention she can.

Sonny

Sonny is a registered Icelandic gelding. He is also the son of our Icelandic mare, Dee. Sonny is a very friendly, super sweet guy. He’s not top dog in the pasture so he tends to stand back and let you come to him but once you’ve greeted him he’ll follow you around like a big puppy dog getting all the attention he can. Sonny has just started his riding career, so he isn’t used for patients to ride yet, but is hoping to be promoted soon. For now Sonny enjoys being brushed and going for walks.
